Our Story

Pauletta was built for John and Anne Males in 1995 and launched in New South Wales before making her way to Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck. In the early days, Anne and John ran charters for their friends and Tassie locals with their two young sons, Michael and Brock, in tow.

Their regular trips around the Tasman Peninsula fishing and sightseeing saw Anne and John quickly established Pauletta as a capable and friendly family boat. Over the years Pauletta has been host to many guests from Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race photographers, geographers and marine mammal scientists keen to spot rarities that Tasmania has to offer.

Now, over 30 years since she was launched, John can still be found behind the helm of the Pauletta, running charters with his sons and their families lending a hand.
